Equipment East is hiring a Service Writer for our Brockton, MA location.

This is a full-time, in-office role supporting our service department by managing work orders, coordinating repairs, and serving as the key point of contact for customers. You will work closely with technicians, parts, and management to keep jobs moving and customers informed.

Key responsibilites:

• Open, manage, and close service work orders
• Communicate repair status, timelines, and costs with customers
• Coordinate scheduling with technicians and service leadership
• Ensure accurate documentation of labor, parts, and service history
• Assist with parts ordering and job coordination
• Maintain organized, up-to-date service records

What We Are Looking For:

• 2 plus years experience in a service writer, service advisor, or similar role preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple jobs at once
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Basic knowledge of heavy equipment, diesel, or mechanical systems is a plus
• Proficient with computer systems and service software

Compensation:
$22.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience and benefits selection
