Service Tech





Equipment East is hiring a Service Technician for our Brockton location. This is a hybrid shop and field role working on heavy and compact construction equipment.

Pay range: $30.00 to $60.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level.



Key responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy and compact construction equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs
  • Complete field service calls in a company service vehicle
  • Test and troubleshoot hydraulic, engine, and electrical systems
  • Record work performed and parts used accurately
  • Communicate job status with the Service Manager and customers
  • Maintain tools, service truck, and shop area in safe condition

Qualifications:

  • 3 plus years experience as a diesel or heavy equipment technician
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Valid driver’s license. CDL preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
  • OEM certifications preferred
